To name a few, dosa, idly (rice dish), steam rice cakes (puttu), string hoppers (idiyappam), sambar (similar to the veggie soup), south Indian biryani, and a huge variety of mild and spicy seafood. In simple words, it’s totally different from north Indian cuisine and is a must-try.
