15 – 24th July 2016: For a period of ten awesome days every single year, the Gertrude Street transforms into a serene canvas of projection art and installations. In 2016, the GSPF celebrates the 9th year of inner Melbourne’s most visible and large-scale art festival. For 10 evenings in July and in over 38 sites, the length of Gertrude Street in Fitzroy is illuminated by the creations of immensely talented projections artists for the Gertrude Street Projection Festival. Every bit of the street from buildings, laneways, footpaths and trees, bins and all up with specific, curated projections. The Festival’s diverse arts program celebrates and connects our diverse community of Melbourne.
