Little Creatures is an Aussie brewing company which is based in Fremantle, Western Australia. This brewery was originally established in the year 2000 by the brewers of the Matilda Bay Brewing Company. The Little Creatures Brewery in the South of Geelong opened its doors to the public in the month of December in 2013 and thus it is one of the newest attractions of the city of Geelong. In a very short span of time, this brewery has become a very happening and one of the most interesting places to be and meet people in Geelong. This brewery is expected to produce 1.25 million cartons of beer in the first year itself.
The Little Creatures Brewery is built on a land that used to house a major woolen mill in the area known as the Valley Worstead Mills. When the mills were closed back in the 70s, the buildings were left to decay. The brewery was established in this very building, and much care was taken to preserve the old building. The stainless steel vats and high-tech devices of the brewery have a sharp but stunning contrast to the old yet beautiful structure. There are regular tours that are conducted of this brewery where you can learn a lot about the production process of the beers and also look at a building which is linked to hundreds of years of Australian heritage.
