Street Diaries Pop Up Exhibition Melbourne

29th June – 17th July 2016: Today we are excited to share about this really interesting Pop Up Exhibition called “Street Diaries” featuring 4 artists from different parts of the globe (including Melbourne, Australia) connected through Mobile photography.

Our smartphones capture so much of our lives that are sharable with the world within seconds. However the art and beauty can be lost to the uncertain and transient nature of this medium.

This Pop Up exhibition is taking the medium of Mobile photography and giving it a physical form where the art and stories are tangible. Sharing global street stories with Melbourne audiences that might not get the opportunity to ever experience these raw stories from the eyes of locals. An exhibition not bound by the traditional gallery operations and like the images presented raw and honest.

Below are the 4 artists bringing this unique experience to you

  • Shawn Theodore, Philadelphia
  • Pierre Le Govic, Paris
  • Raul Barrios, Cochabamba
  • Mary Gotsi, Melbourne
