Tesselaar Tulip Festival Melbourne 2016

8th Sep – 4th Oct 2016: This year the Tesselaar Tulip Festival celebrates its 63rd year of existence and is one of the most celebrated Victorian attraction. The event certainly becomes bigger and better each year and this year there are 100,000 more Tulips taking the overall number to 700,000, including 120 different varieties. The colors, the view, everything about it is total magic in every sense!

Another attraction is the excitement in unveiling the worlds biggest clog! The world’s biggest shoe is revealed at this year’s Tesselaar Tulip Festival. Working together with one of world’s most renowned chainsaw sculptors Rob Bast it was possible to make this massive clog that is more than 4 meters in length and 2 meters in height. Not just seeing, but taking photographs along with the clog is going to be super awesome!

Other event highlights apart from the Tulips (of course!) are daily entertainment shows, stalls and loads of fun and activities lined up for both adults and kids! The Tulip festival is set on 55 acres of working farmland in the Dandenong Ranges which is less than an hours drive from the Melbourne CBD. If you love breathtaking views and enjoy capturing them on a photo frame to cherish, we highly recommend this event!
