15th – 17th April 2016: Come join the MyState Australian Wooden Boat Festival and help it to be a grand success in its 40th anniversary. Celebrate the diversity and heritage of wooden boats and their craftsmen as over 100 boards will be available on display. From traditional sailboats to marvelous tall ships, detailed modern boats to the rugged fisherman models, you’ll find every type of boat available here to cater to your fascination. Also, a variety of entertainment and fun programs will be there including Tasmania’s own food and drinks. This festival stretches through the entire Sullivans Cove, beginning from Hunter Street and all the way up to Castray Esplanade.
