Warm Trees Canberra 2016

12th – 15th July 2016: Annually organised in the National Arboretum Canberra, this festival seeks volunteers who knit and crochet scarves that are displayed on the trees and buildings of the arboretum. Willing participants should knit scarves that are about 25 cm wide and one meter long, so that they are hang on trees like ribbons. Scarves should ideally be of vividly bright colours, because the Warm Trees Festival is a colourful event. Extend nature a kind gesture and help “warm” the trees.
